GoFundMe Campaign

To our patrons,

Community is what brings us together and for over 40 years Yoshi’s Oakland has been connecting us all through a language we know best – music. As the coronavirus pandemic continues to disrupt our everyday lives, Yoshi’s, much like countless other venues/restaurants in the area, faces the uncertainty of survival.

We are committed to preventing the spread of COVID-19, but what this means is that we are unable to conduct any aspect of our business during this crisis. Even though our staffing is limited, the monthly costs of being shut down for the past eight months have taken their financial toll. For the first time in our history, the future of Yoshi’s is in question and we need your help.

There are multiple ways you can support:
Donate via our GoFundMe page
– If you’re a ticketholder, please be patient with us as we work behind the scenes to schedule new dates
– Snag some merch and wear your Yoshi’s pride

In the past, we have supported the community much like you have supported us with your warmth and patronage. When open we employ over 100 staff with families and present over 400 events in any given year. In the last few years, we’ve raised over five million for public schools, hospitals and several non-profits that benefit the elderly/cancer/AIDS. We ask you now to donate and help Yoshi’s Oakland stay open for years to come.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,

-Yoshi’s Oakland
