Ethan Ostrow is a jazz pianist, composer, and vocalist from Berkeley, now based in New York City. He has had the opportunity to headline and perform at some of the Bay Area’s finest venues including Yoshi’s, The Fox Theater, The Freight & Salvage and more. Ethan strives for an intense, lush sound and demonstrates deep personal expression. Having led a double-life as an actor for many years, Ethan understands the power of storytelling, and brings it to his music every performance.

Ethan is also 2 years cancer-free, after overcoming a stage 4 Lymphoma diagnosis as a teenager. He frequently combines his love of music with his passion for cancer charity work, and is proud to have raised over $30,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society since 2017 through numerous fundraising concerts, as well as the release of his debut album “Confused.”

Ethan is a currently a student at the Manhattan School of Music, being mentored by Stefon Harris, Alan Broadbent, and Jeremy Manasia. He also spent a year in Minneapolis, playing with and learning from Phil Hey (Dewey Redman) and Dean Sorenson (Glenn Miller Orchestra, Frank Sinatra).
