ROY ROGERS & the DELTA RHYTHM KINGS feat. Carlos Reyes
September 20, 2013
"Sounds the way good bourbon tastes, smooth and with a kick." - Spin
"Rogers is both a sensational and a sensitive blues guitarist - certainly among the finest slide guitarists playing today. His wailing slide guitar sound (and churning rhythms, when needed) mark him and his work as of the highest caliber." - The San Francisco Chronicle

Roy Rogers & The Delta Rhythm Kings are known around the world for turning in stunning and inspiring performances wherever they play, regularly bringing audiences to their feet. With 20 recorded albums of diverse and eclectic modern blues, Americana and roots music, Rogers has garnered eight Grammy nominations including work with John Lee Hooker, Ramblin' Jack Elliott and Bonnie Raitt. Rogers' diverse music career is limitless, as he continuously stretches the boundaries of slide guitar, as he is widely considered a "visionary guitarist" and "slide virtuoso". Rogers sonically traverses genres while managing to stay true to his American roots-oriented background, or to, and as one critic says, "divine the ancient language of the Mississippi Delta and forge a modern link to rock and roll." This fall a new PBS special with RR & DRK in HD will air, with some very special guests.
