MARVIN GAYE MEETS MILES DAVIS describes multi-talented vocalist, trumpeter, recording artist, songwriter, and producer Johnny Britt as he continues his amazing success with a debut contemporary R&B/Soul release “The Feels So Good (Suite).” This new collection of twelve dynamic songs is released on GMUSIC Records and is sure to excite fans worldwide.

Fresh off tour from playing trumpet and singing in Josh Groban’s band, Johnny’s outstanding vocals and exceptional stage presence are a unique combination. Being a vocalist/trumpet player sets Johnny apart from his peers.

“The Feels So Good (Suite)” brings a refreshing revival of old-school soul to the R&B scene. This CD is a soulful journey that hearkens back to the heyday of brilliant music with an updated groove, R&B, Jazz, Pop, Gospel, and a little bit of Reggae flavor.

This CD marks Johnny’s debut as a solo artist.  His previous recordings on Motown Records with “IMPROMP2” are recognized internationally. Johnny is distinguished for his recordings of uplifting and positive lyrics.

He has received Gold and Platinum status with the Temptations as well as Boney James. Johnny has worked behind the scenes in the recording studio and live on stage with some of the most prevalent artists and projects in the industry. They include: Quincy Jones Josh Groban; David Bowie; Jennifer Lopez; the Temptations; Maxwell; Peabo Bryson; Luther Vandross, and others.
