Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Lieberum are Princess and, yes, they are a Prince cover band. When Maya and Gretchen performed “Darling Nikki” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon recently, Gawker called it “ingenious” and “the best thing on TV.” Don’t miss Princess’s Bay Area debut!

Maya Rudolph is most widely known for her turn on NBC's Saturday Night Live, where she was one of the show's regular players for over seven years. On the small screen, she stars as ‘Ava’ on the NBC comedy Up All Night opposite Christina Applegate and Will Arnett. Rudolph is currently in production on Grown Ups 2, reuniting with cast-mates Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, and David Spade. Sony will release the sequel July 12, 2013. She’ll soon begin filming The Way, Way Back, the upcoming directorial debut of Oscar-winning The Descendants writers Jim Rash and Nat Faxon. Rudolph recently starred in Paul Feig's comedy Bridesmaids, which has grossed over $169 million at the domestic box office and garnered numerous accolades since it opened May 13, 2011. Rudolph has lent her voice to such films as Zookeeper and Shrek The Third, and has appeared in Grown Ups, Robert Altman's A Prairie Home Companion, Mike Judge's Idiocracy, Peter Segal's 50 First Dates, Miguel Arteta's Chuck & Buck. Rudolph most recently appeared in Friends With Kids, directed by Jennifer Westfeldt. In 2009, she earned rave reviews for her performance opposite John Krasinski in the comedic and heartfelt film Away We Go, directed by Sam Mendes from a script by Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida.

Gretchen Lieberum, a Los Angeles-based vocalist & songwriter, was raised in Berkeley, CA, where her passion for writing and performing developed within the Bay Area music scene. After fronting a funk band for several years, Gretchen released her first solo album, Three AM, in 1998, which was followed several years later by Brand New Morning, both produced by acclaimed musician and producer Greg Poree (Stevie Wonder, Cassandra Wilson). Brand New Morning was distributed by Lakeshore Entertainment (Warner Brothers) and several tracks from the album got placement in film and television. Her next album, Siren Songs, was produced by John Gold and Sam Music. The album was released independently in the U.S., and by Nomadic Records in the UK & Europe. Gretchen’s latest album, When This Kiss Is Over It Will Start Again, was produced by Gus Seyffert, and featured a lineup of stellar musicians, including Greg Kurstin (The Bird and the Bee), Joey Waronker (Elliott Smith, R.E.M.) and Petra Haden.
