DESCRIPTION:\nAt 18 months old Jacob Armen entered the world of jazz music.
  Playing  drums alongside his father\, Albert Armen\, with his keyboards\,
  the two  took center stage at the family's restaurant\, the Magic Lamp. B
 y age 6  Jacob was performing with CSUN's 20-piece jazz ensemble conducted
  by  Professor of Music and Jazz Studies\, Joel Leach.&#8232\;&#8232\;&nbs
 p\; With Professor Leach  as mentor\, numerous television and radio interv
 iews followed including  ABC's Good Morning America\, NBC's Today Show\, a
 nd Johnny Carson's Tonight Show\, where Jacob performed with Doc Severinso
 n and his  17-piece jazz band. In just two short years\, at the age of 8\,
  Jacob had  performed with jazz ensembles around the world.&#8232\;&#8232\
 ;&nbsp\; During this time\,  Prince had discovered Jacob and signed him fo
 r 7 years as an artist for  Paisley Park Enterprises\, which later became 
 NPG Records. Prince was  quoted mentioning in an interview that Jacob was 
 &ldquo\;the most frightening  drummer&rdquo\; he had ever heard. At age 12
 \, Jacob cut his highly sought after  first solo album Drum Fever which is
  now a collectable on E-Bay  for up to $280.00.&nbsp\; Albert Armen produc
 ed and co-engineered the album\,  and Jacob worked with special guest arti
 sts such as: Alphonso Johnson\,  Alex Acu&ntilde\;a\, Freddie Ravel\, Larr
 y Steelman\, Eric Leeds on sax and CSUN&rsquo\;s  17-piece Jazz ensemble c
 onducted by Professor Joel Leach.\n\nWhen his contract ended\, Jacob went 
 on to form his own record label\, JAAB Records\, and cut his 2nd album\, B
 reakthrough.&nbsp\; Now\, Jacob Armen is coming back strong and is in the 
 process of releasing his highly anticipated double-album When Drums Conduc
 t!&nbsp\;  This brilliant collaboration features guest appearances by some
  of the  industry's finest musicians and world-renowned GRAMMY Award winni
