The Hottest & Longest Running Spoken Word Entertainment Organization on the West Coast has assembled some of the Bay Area's Top Poets, Spoken Word, Neo Soul & Hip Hop Artist together to celebrate and pay TRIBUTE to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr here at Yoshi's Oakland.

Hot Water Cornbread, a spoken word entertainment and management company based out of Oakland, CA originally began with a poet and a passion founded by Miss Brandy Daley, and has since become a poetical movement geared towards enabling the artistic innovators of today's society to 'Spread The Word. HWC also provides a weekly open mic platform called "MOUTH-OFF" at the Air Lounge every Wednesday and is now the social hub for inspiring artist of all kind.
