GRAMMY®-nominated singer/songwriter Amel Larrieux is set to take the stage at Yoshi's San Francisco for two nights, Friday, January 10 and Sunday, January 12, 2014.

Produced by Blisslife Records and Yoshi's San Francisco, the show is in support of Amel’s critically acclaimed newly released fifth solo studio album, Ice Cream Everyday from Blisslife Records.

Ice Cream Everyday features the first single, “Afraid,” produced by long-time collaborator and husband, Laru Larrieux.  And keeping this in the family, Amel performed the song recently with her musician daughter, Sky, on The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon, while sitting in with the show’s band, The Roots.

Ice Cream Everyday is a true Rhythm & Blues offering that blends unconventional harmonies and beautiful lyrics making for a memorable musical journey, in the singer’s impeccable, inimitable style.

Amel Larrieux rose to fame in the mid-1990s as a founding member of the duo Groove Theory along with Bryce Wilson. After leaving the group in 1999, she released her debut solo album, Infinite Possibilities, the following year on Epic Records. In late 2003, Larrieux founded her own independent label with her husband/producer Laru Larrieux, Blisslife Records, on which she has released three R&B Billboard chart-topping albums, Bravebird, Morning and Lovely Standards. She has toured consistently worldwide including the US and Japan.
