Listen/Buy: DAVID HARDIMAN'S SF ALL STAR BIG BAND '37TH ANNIVERSARY" CD Here!

DAVID HARDIMAN’S SAN FRANCISCO ALL STAR BIG BAND FEATURING VOCALIST DENISE PERRIER, NINA CAUSEY AND “D. ANTHONY” HARDIMAN

Receiving three stars from Down Beat Magazine David Hardiman's San Francisco All Star Big Band, San Francisco NAACP, KCSM Radio 91.1 FM, and The Jazz Heritage Center presents a fundraiser for the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY and SF ALL STAR BIG BAND’S “37TH ANNIVERSARY” CD RELEASE PARTY for an exciting evening.

In reviewing the band, San Francisco Chronicle jazz critic Tom Albright said: “In a place where even small ensembles often have trouble surviving, David Hardiman has assembled many of the area’s finest jazzmen into a hard-swinging, free-spirited San Francisco All Star Jazz Band…..Its special trademark is perhaps the warmth, fun and good spirits that seem to bind the group’s highly individualistic members together, projecting a personality and freewheeling feeling that is generally more common among small combos than big bands.”

DAVID HARDIMAN’S SAN FRANCISCO ALL STAR BIG BAND is a world class professional band that has performed, recorded, traveled, and associated with such notables as TONY BENNETT, “DIZZY” GILLESPIE, “COUNT” BASIE, “DUKE” EILLINGTON, EARL “FATHA” HINES, RAY CHARLES,  and “SUN-RA”.  Vocalist DENISE PERRIER, NINA CAUSEY and D. ANTHONY unique song styles are reminiscent of Billie Holiday,   Dinah Washington, Nancy Wilson and Michael Jackson.
