This night will be a musical celebration of Sony’s successful Kickstarter project. Supported by her fans, many of them from the Bay Area, Sony recorded a new version of the song ON A SAN FRANCISCO HIGH for its 10th Anniversary. Ms. Holland recorded with musical legends Leland Sklar and Gregg Bissonette and the project was engineered by multiple Grammy winner, Leslie Ann Jones, Skywalker Sound. Originally, Sony recorded ON A SAN FRANCISCO HIGH 10 years ago when she was busking at Fisherman’s Wharf @ Pier 39. Currently based in Los Angeles, Ms. Holland has toured internationally and continues to build on her reputation. “I’ve grown so much by getting out and performing all over the world,” she reflects, “but I still have a very strong connection to San Francisco.”
The new version of ON A SAN FRANCISCO HIGH and the ‘B-side’, THE L.A. OF MY DREAMS will both be available on iTUNES soon.
