Norm has used old and new poetry as lyrics for these songs in the tradition of the Great American Songbook, with jazz as the format. Clairdee is a fine mellow singer with an international reputation. Nic Bearde and Shanna Carlson are among the best Bay Area vocalists. The poems are inspiring, sometimes funny, and always brain messing.
