A Day of Traditional and Contemporary Japanese Culture and Arts Presented by Yoshi's SF

Every October, Yoshi Akiba Opens up her restaurant to share Japanese culture with the general public. In the morning is a participatory workshop which includes; the Tea Ceremony, Flower Arrangement, Sumie Workshop, Origami, Calligraphy, Koto Performance.
Afternoon performances in the club will be traditional music, dance and poetry with modern twists. Followed by special 40th anniversary presentation of Yoshi Akiba’s Life story through choreographed dance and music and slide and narration.
