NaJe curates the best of the great American songbook and beyond with a soulful, sultry voice heavily influenced by jazz greats - Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O' Day, and Julie London. She currently resides in San Francisco and has performed at top music venues and festivals throughout the country: Coda Jazz Supperclub, Yoshi's Jazz Club, The Sambucca Jazz Café, The Athens Music and Film Festival, The Athens Jazz Festival, Chicago's New Music Festival, The Cotton Club, The Fabulous 40 Watt, The Tongue and Groove, The Georgia Theatre, The Atomic Music Hall, The Cat’s Cradle, The Covered Dish, and The Velvet Elvis.
Chris Amberger (Double Bass) Ambergers' hard driving bass lines, melodic soloing, and enormous creativity have brought him to perform with artists such as Freddie Hubbard, Sonny Stitt, Art Pepper, and Steely Dan. He has toured and worked with the likes of Art Blakey, George Shearing, Cal Tjader, Richie Havens, and Rosemary Clooney.
Lorca Hart (Drums) Son of world-renowned jazz drummer Billy Hart, Lorca's tenacious, vibrant, and highly-skilled technique has led him to perform with a long line of talented artists including: Freddie Hubbard, Ralph Moore, Carmen Lundy, Calvin Keys, Stanley Jordan, Craig Handy, Kyle Eastwood, Herman Riley, Azar Lawrence, Red Holloway, Plas Johnson, John Heard, Danny Grissett, Justo Almario, Bennie Maupin, Phil Ranelin, Dave Pike, Don Menza, Hugh Masekela, Bobby Rodriguez, the Clayton Brothers, Anthony Wilson, Julian Lage, storyteller/radio personality Joe Frank, actor/musicians Jeff Goldblum and Peter Weller, and Ronald Muldrow.
G. Levin (Piano) Composer/pianist Grant Levin is one of most talented young players on the jazz scene today. A vibrant improviser, he leaves no style of jazz untouched in his versatile, expressive playing. He has performed with Little Anthony and the Imperials, Greg Gisbert, Michael Marcus, Madeline Eastman, Bishop Norman Williams, Akio Sasajima, Vince Wallace, Lori Bell, Larry Hancock, Josh Jones, Paula Chase, Clint Strong, Sheherezade Stone, Darrell Green, Mike Olmos, and Tekanawa "Rufus" Haereiti.
