Take the sounds of one of America’s most renowned harp heroes , combine a musical backbone made up of blues-tinged blends of bass + percussion and incorporate the fresh beats of a jazzy mix-master and the result is the Logic Project: Popper and Wasserman with John Popper of Blues Traveler, Rob Wasserman of Rat Dog, DJ Logic and the Jazz Mafia All Stars.

In late 2003, Popper hooked up with bassist Rob Wasserman, best known for his work with Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir in the Dead side project known as Ratdog. The two got together for a show in San Francisco that December, and turntablist DJ Logic, who happened to be in town at the time.
