NaJe is an American jazz singer, songwriter, and recording artist.  She sings soulful, sultry ballads and sweet jazz with a sound and style that is heavily influenced by jazz greats Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O' Day, and Julie London.  She started her musical career in Athens, GA (indie-mecca and land of R.E.M., The B-52's, Man Or Astroman) playing with Athen's all-girl rock band, The Supervixens.  After the Supervixens, she started her solo career and began singing with numerous jazz / swing bands in Atlanta and performing at top East Coast venues and festivals: The Athens Music and Film Festival, The Athens Jazz Festival, Chicago's New Music Festival, The Cotton Club, The Tongue and Groove, The Fabulous 40 Watt, The Atomic Music Hall, The Sambucca Jazz Café, The Georgia Theatre, Cat’s Cradle, The Covered Dish, and The Velvet Elvis.   In 2006, NaJe and British sound designer/composer, Mike Barnes, released trip-hop/downtempo album. During this time they also wrote 'Desidere', a beautiful original jazz ballad honoring dreamers and lovers.
