 Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey are very pleased to announce a revamped lineup for 2009.  The odyssey continues with Brian Haas on keys, Josh Raymer on drums, and proudly introducing new members Chris Combs on guitar and lap steel and Matt Hayes on bass.  The reconfigured band made its debut on New Year's Eve to an elated sold out crowd in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Since 1994, JFJO has brought their impressionistic and improvisational vision to their music, offering interpretations and music influenced by The Flaming Lips, Charles Mingus, Neil Young, Brian Wilson, Dave Brubeck, The Beatles, Bjork and Jimi Hendrix.  This band of prodigious musicians brings their uniquely playful brand of jazz to Yoshi’s Oakland.
