DANNY BROWN - a young man whose velvety, boppin tenor saxophone cuts through the band's tropical waves with ease. His original songs raise the standards.

Danny has recently been making magic alongside his friends Danny Grewen, Joel Ryan and Jaz Sawyer with co-founded High Society Productions. HSP's featured groups are High Society (big band style & original vocal tunes & standards) & Horace-Scope (hard-bop & original instrumental jazz inspired by the music of Horace Silver).

In 2007 Danny released his third self-produced album 'Goin’ Legit'; featuring 16 swingin' tracks from both his dynamic 15 piece big band and his more intimate 8 piece lounge band. 'Goin’ Legit' has received local radio play (KCSM 91.1FM) and is currently being enjoyed in select venues across San Francisco. Other completed recording ventures by DB include 'Taisho Chic', 2005; an album with his big band recorded live in the Berkeley Art Museum (part of the Taisho Chic exhibition) and collaborations with Fito Reinoso y su Ritmo y Armonia.
