Pasquale Esposito is an international touring and recording tenor. He will make his debut performance at Yoshi’s Oakland on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 7PM. He was born in Naples, Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1988 after winning the Green Card Lottery. Thereafter, he pursued his passion for music by studying at San Jose State University’s School of Music under the direction of Professor Joseph Frank. In 2009, he received a degree in vocal performance. Pasquale has released 6 full length CDS and is presently working on his 7th album that will be a Spanish version of his CD: A Brand New Me (2009). He is currently touring with his last release “Il TEMPO” which is a double CD comprising of music spanning from 1880-2011. His performance will highlight Italian Jazz along with Italian, Spanish and English standards arranged his distinctive style.

Pasquale has performed throughout the United States and Europe with the finest Orchestras. Driven by his passion to celebrate music history as an educator, Pasquale is presently working on a PBS project focused on the life and career of Italian tenor, Enrico Caruso. Pasquale has teamed with a dynamic crew to present a musical concert in Italy in the fall of 2013 intertwined by a compelling documentary tracing the career of Caruso.
