Los Train Wreck - Hell On Heels by Yoshisjazz

Los Train Wreck - with a history as Northern California’s best show-up-and-jam band - is versatile, rootsy, gutsy and just plain fun. Serving up a heady brew of rock n' roll, country, bluegrass, and r & b since 1992, Los Train Wreck features Kathi Kamen Goldmark on rhythm guitar and vocals, David Phillips on pedal steel guitar and vocals, and Sam Barry on keyboards, harmonica, and vocals, joined by Todd Swenson on lead guitar, Peter Tucker, drums, and Paul Olguin, bass and vocals.

With stellar song-crafting, captivating arrangements, humor, pathos, and prodigious talent, Los Train Wreck weaves their spell from the Yoshi’s stage tonight, with enough raw energy to transport and delight you. There is nothing like experiencing Los Train Wreck in live performance. Kathi Goldmark is the Producer Emeritus of Sedge Thomson’s “West Coast Live” radio program, and author/columnist Sam Barry (brother of humorist Dave Barry) has been featured as a guest on radio stations nation-wide. The band has had what Kathi calls the "dubious honor" of recording music with dozens of authors, including Amy Tan, Ben Fong-Torres, Norman Mailer, Maya Angelou, and former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich.

Don’t miss this rare East Bay performance as Los Train Wreck, along with special guest Charlie Owen, powers its way through some of the most boundary-bending, foot-stompin’ music you’re likely to enjoy this year.
