Dizzy Gillespie Live at Monterey

Recorded Live at the 1965 Monterey Jazz Festival, this album features nine previously unreleased tracks from the trumpet virtuoso and gifted improviser.  Also credited as being one of the pioneers of the Afro-Cuban Jazz movement, Gillespie is joined by James Moody, Kenny Barron, Christopher White, Rudy Collins and Big Black. The tracks were digitally remastered from the original tapes and include extensive liner notes and reare photographs.
